What is the problem you are having with rclone?

Not a problem, just a general question. Do people generally encrypt files sent to pCloud, or is pCloud storage safe enough to send unencrypted files?

Run the command 'rclone version' and share the full output of the command.

Which cloud storage system are you using? (eg Google Drive)

The command you were trying to run (eg rclone copy /tmp remote:tmp)

Please run 'rclone config redacted' and share the full output. If you get command not found, please make sure to update rclone.

A log from the command that you were trying to run with the -vv flag

it depends on what type of file, legal, illegal, pirated or what?

Anecdotal information (i.e. people online) says that pCloud do run scans on user content and compare against hashes, or via some other way identify copyrighted files, or anything not in accordance with their T&Cs.

If you don't want to be a "false positive", it's always best to encrypt files before uploading, using rclone crypt.

Hi,

I know from personal experience that pCloud company scans and reads the contents of every file that you upload that's not encrypted.

I don't encrypt files that I intend to share with others over the internet but personal data like Financial medical and legal i keep encrypted on the server.
