Edu email account does not confirm that it has rclone added to it

What is the problem you are having with rclone?

I have been given edu account by my friend, I have added rclone to it but there is no email confirmation that rclone is been successfully added to it?

where has rclone has been successfully added to an account, I could use see remote files and folders through rclone. any suggestions what has been wrong?

What is your rclone version (output from rclone version)

Which OS you are using and how many bits (eg Windows 7, 64 bit)

Which cloud storage system are you using? (eg Google Drive)

The command you were trying to run (eg rclone copy /tmp remote:tmp)

If you run through the rclone config process and authorize it via logging in with the user name and password on the webpage, you'd see that listed in 3rd party app access.

What steps have to done to create the remote and add the account?

I had set up via rclone config from headless server, with Authorization link process and my edu mail was already logged in my desktop pc (home machine using windows) and just have to allow access of rclone to gdrive of my edu mail linked google drive.

And if you pasted the auth code back and test your rclone config, are things working? If so, you are good and you should see that in 3rd party app access.
