Desktop Icons and Mounted Disks on Macos

I'm using Rclone latest build 1.69 on a Mac running 15.2, using Google Drive storage.

When I mount a disk the icon appears on my desktop. Is there a way to change the icon? And is there a way to make the icon hidden whilst keeping the disk mounted?

go to Finder settings:

Not aware if it is possible but since now it is hidden I guess it is irrelevant:) If still needed try google or some apple forums as it has nothing to do with rclone itself.

There's a command on osx where you can hide specific volumes you don't need/want to see, whilst allowing other volumes to be visible. That Finder command doesn't allow that specificity, whilst the fact that the mounted disk isn't seen as a volume by the filesystem means the specific command to hide a volume doesn't either. I just wondered if there was a way in rclone to do this, but I expect that because it's piggybacking Fuse, there's no room for that kind of find-grained control.
