Creating Shortcuts with Drive

Using the Google Drive backend, is there a way of creating Google Drive Shortcuts?

Ideally, within the same drive, I would like to copy the folder layout/hierarchy and then create shortcuts of the individual files. I looked into the backend commands for drive and I failed to create a single shortcut.

I've looked at this but it doesn't say anything about actually making shortcuts
