Compatibility with Microsoft Fabric OneLake

I was curious if anyone has tried to use rclone with Microsoft Fabric for transferring data to OneLake from other file storage systems?

I've loved using rclone with S3 and now that I'll be using Azure, I was poking around to see what is supported. I didn't see Azure Data Lake or OneLake (which I think is roughly the same).

I didn't see any mention of OneLake in the forums or on GitHub issues, so maybe not many technical people are using Fabric.

Anyways just thought I'd throw it out there. I have a huge amount of data I'll need to transfer from S3 and other file systems to OneLake.

Thanks!

We have a OneLake backend in development at the moment.

Since OneLake is very enterprisey this is likely to be a pay for feature.

Can you drop us an email to sales@rclone.com and we can discuss?

Thanks

Nick

Couldn’t one use the azureblob remote with the endpoint https://onelake.blob.fabric.microsoft.com? At least, it seems that way from reading OneLake parity and integration - Microsoft Fabric | Microsoft Learn.

@ncw, what would the paid OneLake backend do differently?
