Best way to make sure rclone backups are not failing?

So recently i learned about google banning entire hetzner IP blocks and this got me scared.

I have a mysql database backup to google that I really need to be sure it's always working before i write something for me I want to know if there is already a standard or recommended way to do this?

I want to know if rclone fails to backup my files to google drive for any reason without having to manually check if the uploads are being done

I currently have a cron job running that uploads the .sql files with rclone

when rclone exits, it sets an exit code. you can check that. same as any executable.
