has there been any thought to integrating encfs, with rclone, i had already started with encfs prior to rclone so just kind of stuck with it with 24TB of data and growing i think would just try way to much time to convert to crypt. just wondering.
I doubt it. EncFS has known security holes and a workable alternative is available. Would seem like development time would be better spend elsewhere, But i’m not the dev so… 
My thoughts are if someone wants to do it, I’ll integrate it, but I don’t have time to do it at the moment, nor likely for the foreseeable future.
