Probably `pwd` or $(pwd). Not 'pwd'.

Note that the rclone repo has moved to "github.com/rclone/rclone"
Note also that rclone is packaged by termux so you can just type "pkg install rclone"
I can't find location /data/data/com.termux/files/home/.config/rclone/rclone.conf

Is the file in the right place? What does this say
ls -l storage/downloads/rclone.conf
Find the file in termux using ls then use --config=/path/to/file is what I would do
I'm glad you worked it out! I tried to remember that command but I couldn't!
