@ncw maybe switch to v1.36 as if you check the beta download page it looks like v1.35 is the last one 
The version numbers are supposed to be 1.35 plus a bit.
I agree it is confusing - I’m going to revisit at the next release.
Would it be possible to have a generic naming convention so we can automate installing the latest beta? Eg. http://beta.rclone.org/rclone-beta-latest-linux-amd64.zip with a MD5 file and a version file (rclone-beta-latest-linux-amd64.version) this will enable us to pull this file to see what we are running
