Value of Rclone on Android?

I have the Magisk implemtation of Rclone on Android working, which means the files (in my case from Google Drive) mount and are visible from Linux in a shell.

However, the Android apps I have tried don't see them within a filesystem. The Apps only look for "internal" which maps to /sdcard or Cloud neither of which include the mounted rclone files. Putting the mount within the internal tree doesn't help, it appears empty to the Android Apps.

I just want to make sure I'm not missing something. If the rclone mount tree is only visible from Linux, its not of great value. The point is to let Android apps to operate on remote files even if there is no remote specific support.
