Their basic business plan is for 5 TB, I just signed up for the free and that is what the upgraded price shows. So the 100 TB is $8.25 x 100 TB or $825 a month or whatever the annual discount makes it. (Unaffordable whatever that is, lol.)
They currently have a special offer for the first year at half price so $1,500 per year or $125/month. Unfortunately it reverts to full price after a year.
I have tried emailing these people on 3 seperate occasions for some more info regarding their plan. They say "unlimited" for $5/user. I cant really find out more then that, looks web based only ( maybe wedav login? ). Also looks like single file uploads might be limited to 2gb, it's not very clear.
Just wanted to update on Dropbox, apparently the grandfathered space for 1 year from the 27th November or when that was is just for what you already have, yesterday my plan should have been renewed but I couldn't do it, contacted support and after a 30min of back and forth I received this message:
"This seems to be connected to the changes we had announced regarding storage. Given the large amount of storage associated with your account, we donāt think we can service you effectively. We recommend that you find another provider that will be a better fit for your needs, as the ability to renew the plan has been restricted."
Being a bit irritated after that response, I forgot to ask how much time do I have before they delete everything, at least I'm not going to pay anymore apparently, but I plan to move fast, I wouldn't risk
And if anyone has some alternative even for some capped but big space (even if it is not the main argument of the post), I will start to do some math with iDrive and the likes
As they state that "upload speed gradually reduced after 5TB" for "unlimited" plan what speed you see when you store 10TB as on your screenshot? Any idea what it would be with 100TB?
Because it sounds like their "unlimited" trick is that we are not gonna tell you upfront when we decide that your data it too much for us... and we make your account unusable by crippled performance. Pay first find out later:)

I use robocopy (.cmd file i run from PC) to store data (backup) from my computers, work + private, to my personal NAS (Synology), that again use rclone upload to jotta by a schedule. I have a 25 mb Upload and 1000 down in my house. I have not tested up/down to Jotta, because it always work, well 20 years ago with 2 x ISDN it was not good.
I may have 10-100 mb changes for documents a day, upload to jotta with rclone, and maybe 2-5 gb media a week. As I experience it; it works flawlessly.
What happens with Tb per day I don't know.
I really feel I get more than I pay for, and also, as Norwegian, my data don't cross borders, that is a mayor issue for me, I don't have encrypted files (so far).
So yes, I like it, I trust it (?), and it works flawless for me.
And mount jotta as drives, with rclone, makes my day easy, reach all may data/photos (thanks to you:) at work/away.
I have not experienced this last 10 years, but I tidy and clean jotta once in a while. Your statement sounds as a bit true, as my experience as a living human, I get fooled some times. I have also given jotta some tip regarding their online browser that still is aka 1983 to make it easier to clean doublets (if you change name for a directory on server, jotta surly stores the old one also, and it is pretty heavy to find and clean it).
This is very good. They are fully upfront about how their limitations work so user can decide. I think it might be interesting storage option for people with certain amount of data and traffic patterns.
Last August I got the message that my unlimited Workspace Enterprise Standard subscription would be changed to 5TB per user quota. As I was still over quota in September my Google Drive was set as read only. Ever since I have been able to access my data but not add to it.
This morning I got an email from Google that says my account will soon be suspended then deleted. So much for the notion that Goggle would keep your data read only for one or two years. This is just six months since they unilaterally imposed the quotas.
Because you have not taken the necessary steps to free up or get more storage, we will suspend your Google Workspace Enterprise Standard subscription in 30 days on February 21, 2024 . If you take no action your Google Workspace Enterprise Standard subscription will be canceled. You can export all your organization's data before the subscription is canceled. You will be notified prior to your subscription being canceled. Once your subscription has been canceled, you will lose all your data and cannot recover it.
I nearly forgot. Last week I had an email from Google informing me that the price per seat was increasing & to log on to the admin console to see details.
The price is increasing from £15.30 GBP per user/month to £23.04 per user/month i.e. a rise of 50%.
Your data won't cross borders legally; just as an example, if your storage provider is cracked and your data is exposed, it can be copied cross-borders (and probably will, since there are not that many crackers in Norway AFAIK).
If keeping your data in Norway (or any other kind of control) is important to you, then IMNSHO you really should encrypt; the performance loss is almost certainly negligible (unless you're using an old Raspberry or similar) and the only functionality you lose is needing to download the data to calculate checksums (vs just reading it from the file metadata if your provider supports that).
