Unable to upload to Gsuite as of a couple hours ago

Hello i also have that problem.. my server is on Hetzner, how we can bypass or fix that?

i test my rclone configuration from other vps and it works.. the problem is from hetzner... i think..

i fix it.. it was dns yes.. i had 8.8.8.8 on my server but is from google i put 1.1.1.1 from cloudflare's dns and its ok as i test it..

For me the DNS fox was working for about 7 days. Since yesterday the problem started again. Tried to use other DNS servers now instead of the cloudflare ones but without an luck. Looks like it's time to find an alternative for hetzner or maybe GDrive

Started having errors again on Hetzner
Any ideas?

Its working fine on hetzner for me, you need to check your dns if it was changed or using cache or something.

As said I changed it about a week ago. All problems was gone but since about 12 hours I get the errors again. Also the download is slow as hell this time

Is it only Germany or also on the servers in Helsinki?

I ve added a http proxy now for rclone and it works perfectly again. i hope hetzner solves the problem soon that i can remove the proxy again but for now its working

problem was gone for weeks using Cloudflare dns... now its back : (

wait i take that back... somehow the freakin dns reverted to the old ones : (

everybody who has been saying that the problem came back.... are you absolutely positive the dns didnt revert somehow

for a second time mine has just randomly gone back to the old hetzer dns... so weird...

Mine did not change. Problem persists - not always but it really sucks. Glad i can use rclone on a second .nl server without any issues, i will fire up a http proxy this weekend on one of mine non-Hetzner servers.

There is a workaround if it still not work. There are probably some IP addresses from Google that are currently causing problems. Put this in your /etc/hosts file:

142.250.74.78 www.googleapis.com

But keep in mind that the forced IP assignment might not work at some point. This workaround is only temporary.

For me this IP works without problems at the moment. If this address doesn't work you will have to look for another "working" one .. maybe from a user with no errors.

dig +short www.googleapis.com

For anyone wondering, I've been using Google DNS (8.8.8.8 ; 8.8.4.4) since this morning and everything went back to normal!

On Hetzner? Which Datacenter?

Nuremberg - nbg1-dc3

hey guys, started getting the error again this morning. Till yesterday it was working fine. My dns are set to Cloudflare
Any one here facing similar issue ?

yea... error came back again for me just now...

first time its actually come back and not because my dns weirdly got switched back to the old ones : (

has anyone heard anything from hetzner.... or god forbid google.... about all this?

and am i right that this is ONLY happening to hetzner based servers?

its working now for me by adding 142.250.74.78 www.googleapis.com in /etc/hosts file as mentioned above by @nick

thanks a lot

Few more working IPs for the /etc/hosts work around:

142.250.113.95 www.googleapis.com
142.251.16.95 www.googleapis.com
172.253.63.95 www.googleapis.com
142.251.111.95 www.googleapis.com
142.251.163.95 www.googleapis.com
142.251.167.95 www.googleapis.com
142.250.74.78 www.googleapis.com

Found using this tool. Only need to add one of these lines to the file, FYI.

why is this doing this fixing it exactly?
