Traffic Encrypted in Transit using Rclone?

I would like to know if traffic is encrypted in transit while writing data to OneDrive for Business using Rclone? If so, is this enabled by default?

the answer is yes. and that applies to almost all backends, excluding ftp.

https, not http, is used, same as your online bank.

to have the files crypted at rest, after the upload completes, can use a rclone crypt remote.
