Total Objects = Total Checks + Total Transferred?

I am not having an issue. I would like to understand how to estimate sync progress when I know the total objects in the source of my sync.

How do the total objects relate to the "Checks" and "Transferred" stats, will the total of Checks + Transferred converge toward the total objects?

This is how I always understood it as well:)

In case you need more exact ETA early you could add:

--max-backlog = -1 --check-first

to your sync command. It will do all checks before starting transfers.
