Are there are messages when you run the command in syslog / audit / secure or something along those lines?

I will check logs more deeply tomorrow when I get back to office.
Edit: Found nothing in logs that could help.
That definitely indicates some sort of networking problem.
Does the box have to go through a corporate firewall? I wonder if that is killing off persistent connections or something like that.
If you do have a corp firewall you can configure rclone to use your office proxy using the HTTP_PROXY env vars
Thank you so much for your help, but I started using rclone with BackBlaze as cloud backup and it works fine, it auto-refresh token successfully and I will continue using it instead of google drive.
