Support for Duplicate Files, MIME Type and ModTime?

Hi, I am new to the forum.

I have been reading the rclone documentation and in the documentation table I have noticed the Duplicate Files, MIME Type and ModTime features.

What are the advantages of a service having support for the Duplicate Files feature?

What do the letters R and W in the MIME Type feature mean?

ModTime means that the service saves the Modification date of the file?

You can have duplicate files, which most OS don't support but Google Drive does. So you could have multiple files in a directory with the same name.

Read / Write

It keeps the modification time on the file when it uploads.

As an example:

felix@gemini:/GD$ ls -al /etc/hosts
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 221 Jan 23 11:49 /etc/hosts
felix@gemini:/GD$ rclone copy /etc/hosts GD:
felix@gemini:/GD$ rclone lsl GD:hosts
      221 2021-01-23 11:49:37.053000000 hosts
