Sometimes random files cannot be loaded

Run mount with remote control (rc) interface:

rclone mount src: mount_point rc --rc-addr 127.0.0.1:5572 --rc-no-auth

and then you can force specific directory refresh by running:

rclone rc vfs/refresh --url 127.0.0.1:5572 dir=/path/to/dir

or to also refresh all sub directories

rclone rc vfs/refresh --url 127.0.0.1:5572 dir=/path/to/dir recursive=true

Your mount command:

To fully benefit from VFS caching I would suggest you switch to full mode:

/usr/local/bin/rclone mount x1ao4:/ /Users/x1ao4/Media --cache-dir /tmp --allow-other --vfs-cache-mode full --vfs-cache-max-size 20G --header "Referer:https://www.aliyundrive.com/drive"

What is the default vfs-cache-max-size? Does --vfs-cache-max-size 20G mean that rclone will cache 20G of files on my local disc? What is the cache priority of rclone?

Since my webdav mainly stores video files, which usually don't need to be read over and over again, and usually don't need to be used again after reading them once, is it necessary to set this cache?

All available free space.

no idea what you mean

you have to decide. But it helps even with case you described. It shields you from network glitches etc. as rclone will cache played file ahead.

Okay, I think I understand now, thanks.
