Your inital vfs-cache recommendation works on the oppo 203 when I share via SMB, I cannot for the life of me get NFS to show the files. Freemancer had a similiar issue I see back in 2020.
So for now, I will likely return the Z9X Pro and further my testing on the vero 4k+ and Oppo 203.
