i am trying to setup rclone with google drive, and google is asking me for
"The following required fields are missing: homepage link, privacy policy link."
and I cannot pass the verification stage.
is this ok? I followed all the steps in the instruction.

thanks for answering, is not at rclone that I get stopped, is that google asks me for those homepage link, and privacy policy link, before authorizing me, like it was a real public service.

If you have the app set to external you'll need those bits of info.
I went back to the settings and switched the oauth app to internal and I didn't need to then publish in the same manner.
It will work fine as long as your users signing in to Google use the same domain as you I believe.
