Resume sync on Mac OSX after restarting PC

What is the problem you are having with rclone?

Not a problem. Just a question on functionality. I want to know if I restart my Mac will sync pick up from where it left off or will it start again ?

What is your rclone version (output from rclone version)

Latest

Which OS you are using and how many bits (eg Windows 7, 64 bit)

Catalina

Which cloud storage system are you using? (eg Google Drive)

Google drive

The command you were trying to run (eg rclone copy /tmp remote:tmp)

Paste command here

Rclone sync and Rclone copy

The rclone config contents with secrets removed.

A log from the command with the -vv flag

as per the docs
"Sync the source to the destination, changing the destination only. Doesn't transfer unchanged files"
if the source file and the dest file are the same, rclone will not copy it no matter how many times you run rclone sync.
but rclone will have to re-scan the source folder and the dest folder each time.
