Rclone mount with cache for pcloud

Hi,
I’ve come here after a disappointment with pCloud native client for Linux that does not support/recognize proxy settings. This effectively means there is no Linux pcloud client for me. On my home Windows machine (without proxy) I like it how pcloud makes a drive letter that feels local and native to the system (thanks to cache etc.)

Is it possible/worth it to use rclone instead: 1) does rclone support proxy, 2) what settings should I use in pcloud mount with cache to have a drive that feels “local” 3) has anyone done it and is it good?

Or, should I rather investigate how to make pCloud work with tools like proxychains etc.

Yes if you set the correct environment variable

I suggest you try it without cache first - see the settings in the New Feature: vfs-read-chunk-size thread
