Rclone crypt backup question

I have 3 Gdrives, 2 decrypted and 1 encrypted. The 2 decrypted are clones of each other. if i were to lose the encrypted gdrive, would it be faster to copy the content from one of my backups to a new gdrive encrypted or if i backup the encrypted gdrive, i would be faster to copy that instead to a new gdrive?

What is slow is the network - the encryption itself takes very little time in comparison.

In general though if you want to copy an encrypted remote, copying the encrypted files is the right thing to do.
