Seems like your command should be

/usr/bin/rclone copy /tmp/mydevhome.tgz "1 backup mydev:"

The way remotes are called has not changed as that would break many, many people.

I guess Mike means that it was caused by an unintended change/typo during the update; not a change in rclone. Still no problem, we all make mistakes now and then - I am glad to hear we got it solved.
