First thing I would do would be to disable video preview thumbnails, as this will need to download the files to make the thumbnails.
Echo’ing what @blim5001 said, each file you add, it’ll have to download the whole file and make thumbnails, that takes bandwidth and space on your VPS.

Perform Extensive Analysis is also very bandwidth intensive.
