Rc endpoint for hashsum --download

I like puppies

What is the problem you are having with rclone?

I am trying to use the rc interface to do the equivalent of hashsum --download. I can get hashes with operations/stat or operations/list but I can't make it download.

I could do it manually either by downloading the file copyfile or by reading it on the remote with --rc-serve and streaming the http file but then I need to work out optimizations around blocksizes, etc. It would be nice if I could leverage the existing logic in rclone.

Run the command 'rclone version' and share the full output of the command.

rclone v1.65.1
- os/version: darwin 14.2.1 (64 bit)
- os/kernel: 23.2.0 (arm64)
- os/type: darwin
- os/arch: arm64 (ARMv8 compatible)
- go/version: go1.21.5
- go/linking: dynamic
- go/tags: cmount

Which cloud storage system are you using? (eg Google Drive)

Any that doesn't support hashes. E.g. crypt

The command you were trying to run (eg rclone copy /tmp remote:tmp)

hashsum --download via rc

Please run 'rclone config redacted' and share the full output. If you get command not found, please make sure to update rclone.

A log from the command that you were trying to run with the -vv flag
