Question about rclony copy (--delete-after)

Hi,

what is the sense of “–delete-after” when running rclone copy?

as per description:
–delete-after When synchronizing, delete files on destination after transfering

Doesn’t it make sense to delete files on source after sucessfull copy?

Hello ErAzOr,

I think you are mistaken here: AFAIK “–delete-after” applies to sync (not copy) and indicates whether destination files are going to be erased during or after the sync, not source files.

Cheers,

Durval.
