Plex - Scan from ACD, play from GDrive?

Just wondering if there was any way to get plex to scan your library from ACD, but play the files from GDrive?

Kind of a best of both worlds scenario.

If your structure and files are exactly the same, you can:

  1. Mount ACD in your path /mnt/LIBRARY
  2. Scan the library
  3. Unmount ACD and mount Google on /mnt/LIBRARY
  4. Plex will then play from google

Also you can mount both “clouds” and use a symlink to your LIBRARY, and change this symlink on every purpose…

I have them mirrored, so yes they are the same.
