hello,
as a test. have you tried to run the command without rc, using rclone sync .....

My guess would be that you are using rclone rc or similar to put the requests in, but it is timing out because the requests are taking too long

When that happens rclone will cancel the ongoing operation

You have some odd parameters in there for GD too.

drive-chunk-size at 2M makes things go super slow.
20 checkers is too many as only get 10 per second so that slows things down.
the tps-limit of 9 goes against the checkers.

It'll probably work faster if you remove all that and if you have memory, make the drive-chunk-size larger like 64/128/256M.

_async switch doesn't work against the daemon itself, I tried.

Aren't you spawning an rcd and then launching a job against it? If you want to launch the rcd, you'd launch it and then submit a job against it with async.

If you are just running a single command, there is no reason to run rcd, You can just run a straight copy or sync command remove all that.

you seem to be using a lot of &
why not run each command on it own command line?
start rclone rc --rc-user=<username> --rc-pass=<password> sync/copy ...
or
start rclone copy ....

or just run each command, one at a time in order.
`rclone copy Z:\Movies

i could be wrong but i do not see the advantage to running so many rclone commands at the same time.
unless you need a feature specfic to rcd

why not just run each command on it owns line and simplify the code

if i could ask, why the need for rcd, instead of simple rclone copy commands each with a debug log?
then you could figure out why no uploads for months.
is the issue the rclone command or the issue is with rcd...

You've got the quotes in the wrong place here, it should be

Otherwise the _async=true becomes part of the file name.

This is doing wayyy more Transfers than I would like. I need only 2 or 3 at a time.

If you use _async=true then you need to poll for the job completion: https://rclone.org/rc/#job-status if you don't want to run them all together.

Alternatively, if you want to just run them sequentially, then instead of _async=true raise the --timeout on the rclone rc command, so rclone rc --timeout 1h - that will mean rclone rc will wait for 1 hours for each command to complete. That might be easier.
