Jottacloud photos

Hi

I try to mount jottacloud and reach my photots that are backed up from my android, but so far I cant find them.

Maybe something to do with mountpoint?

So is it possible to find jotta photos by remote client?

I have mounted on my WIN pc J:

C:\Program Files\rclone>rclone mount JottaRemote: J:
2024/01/13 12:50:04 NOTICE: jottacloud root '': --vfs-cache-mode writes or full is recommended for this remote as it can't stream
The service rclone has been started.

Name Type
==== ====
JottaRemote jottacloud

In explorer I see:

rclone v1.65.0

  • os/version: Microsoft Windows 10 Home 21H2 (64 bit)
  • os/kernel: 10.0.19044.2728 (x86_64)
  • os/type: windows
  • os/arch: amd64
  • go/version: go1.21.4
  • go/linking: static
  • go/tags: cmount
[JottaRemote]
type = jottacloud
configVersion = 1
client_id = XXX
client_secret =
tokenURL = https://id.jottacloud.com/auth/realms/jottacloud/protocol/openid-connect/token
token = XXX
device =
mountpoint =

And on your Android how and where exactly you backup your photos?

Maybe when you create your remote you have to choose the right mountpoint?

Maybe when you create your remote you have to choose the right mountpoint?

So what is correct mountpoint?

Try different ones:

Option config_mountpoint.
The mountpoint to use for the built-in device Jotta.
The standard setup is to use the Archive mountpoint. Most other mountpoints
have very limited support in rclone and should generally be avoided.
Choose a number from below, or type in an existing string value.
Press Enter for the default (Archive).
 1 > Archive
 2 > Shared
 3 > Sync

Maybe it is Sync?

Also maybe you have to try different device:

Option config_device.
The device to use. In standard setup the built-in Jotta device is used,
which contains predefined mountpoints for archive, sync etc. All other devices
are treated as backup devices by the official Jottacloud client. You may create
a new by entering a unique name.
Choose a number from below, or type in your own string value.
Press Enter for the default (DESKTOP-3H31129).
 1 > DESKTOP-3H31129
 2 > Jotta

Maybe somebody on this forum is doing the same as you and can tell you. Otherwise you have to experiment.
