Is there a flag to make rclone not issue the ‘source file is being updated’ error? I run rclone on Linux and have things set up to send me an e-mail if an rclone job throws an error and I don’t want this to trigger such an e-mail.

--local-no-check-updated
will do it I think.

Can you share your command and the -vv output and recreate the error and share the full log?
Not easily: much time has passed. Also, is there any need? The problem is solved, as I said.
