the problem of corruption is something to be concerned about.
perhaps here with a read-only mount, that is not such a problem.
if you find yourself, copying large amounts of data to the cloud, there is a chance local files will be modified or deleted during the long upload.
i sync large files created by veeam backup and i ran into corruption problems.
