Google storage usage not matching rclone crypt

What is the problem you are having with rclone?

Google has warned me to get my 15 TB of storage down to under 5 TB. Most of that is in an encrypted folder on Google Drive. I have cleaned up the encrypted folder through the rclone command line using 'purge' and 'size'. Now, rclone reports the total size as 3.616 TBytes (3976270843870 Bytes) but Google's web page is still reporting over 15 TB. I did this over a week ago and waited to see if it would clear up. I have also emptied Google Drive's trash. Not sure what else to try? I have a couple weeks before Google will make my storage read-only if I don't resolve this.

Run the command 'rclone version' and share the full output of the command.

Give it 24-48 hours and it'll catch up.

Depending on amount of data and number of files deleted one week delay with Google stats is not unheard of.

Big chance that immediately after you deleted your stuff not even all of these was visible in thrash. Google drive is not designed for bulk operations:)

Try to run:

rclone cleanup gdrive:

to empty thrash again.
