If someone could produce a taxonomy of google API errors that would be very useful! I'd like to see what they look like with -vv --dump responses.

Yeah, the issues are unrelated if you resolved by issuing your own credentials.
By way of a status update, my issues have disappeared ever since opening a ticket and working with Google.
