please use and post the output of a rclone debug log, not screen output of progress statistics.
fwiw, i cannot trust the smb remote:
- lacks file verification using checksums
- other bugs and issues
- the upstream library has not been updated in over three years.
check out my How to access SMB/SAMBA with rclone
as a test, might copy files using sftp. see if you get the same errors...
