do i need add --cache-chunk-clean-interval Duration to clean the cache?

hi,

--cache-chunk-clean-interval is for the cache remote.

as per the documentation, it has known bugs that will never get fixed and has been deprecated.
is there a specifc reason to use it?

You need to add the debug log and the log file to your mount.
Recreate the issue and share the log.

I'm actually looking for a way to get my determinate cache limit respected with rclone and gsuite. I set it at 200 GB but it exceeds to fill the disc

Add -vv --log-file /tmp/rclone.log to your mount command in your service file and restart it / recreate issue / share the log.

What time did you hit an issue? That log looks completely normal with no errors.

--vfs-cache-max-size is not a hard limit,

"If using --vfs-cache-max-size note that the cache may exceed this size for two reasons. Firstly because it is only checked every --vfs-cache-poll-interval. Secondly because open files cannot be evicted from the cache."

Ok I understand, can having more than one mount on the same server cause the problem I have with the cache exceeding the limit set? currently I have 256 gb of vfs hidden even if I put the limit at 200 gb. I had not long ago create a mount with crypt to encrypt data from my gsuite to my gsuite share drive to be able to encrypt on the fly. But currently I only have my mount from my shared and encrypted gsuite disks

yes I know that but --vfs-cache-poll-interval checks every 15 seconds. I don't understand why he doesn't clean what goes over the limit. not everything is used in the vfs cache when it checks every 15 seconds

If you share the full log, you can see exactly what the cache is doing and why or why not it's growing over 200GB with debug on. You've only posted a snippet.

if a file is in-use or open by the operating system, rclone cannot remove it.
unless you are sure you needed it, remove --allow-non-empty

best to follow the advice given in these posts.
3. remove --fast-list as it does nothing on a mount.

You'd want to:

    stop rclone
    enable debug
    recreate the issue
    stop rclone
    remove debug
    share the log

And include the full log once you have it. You can use pastebin/any file sharing service you want.

I use an emby server it is certain that it is always open, on the other hand all the files of the vfs cache are not used in real time

The log you included appears to be for a minute or two and has zero cache in use:
