Duplicate object found in source

Good day

I am using rclone to copy data from google drive to local storage and it works well, I am just a bit confused as to why it would highlight the below as duplicate when the names may be the same but the file extensions are different:

untitled folder 19/graph 4.idml
untitled folder 19/graph 4.indd
untitled folder 19/graph 5.idml
untitled folder 19/graph 5.indd

What is the problem you are having with rclone?

Not a problem, just wanted to understand why it thinks information is duplicated.

Run the command 'rclone version' and share the full output of the command.

rclone v1.66.0-beta.7746.692af4285

  • os/version: darwin 14.4 (64 bit)

  • os/kernel: 23.4.0 (x86_64)

  • os/type: darwin

  • os/arch: amd64

  • go/version: go1.22.0

  • go/linking: dynamic

  • go/tags: cmount

Which cloud storage system are you using? (eg Google Drive)

Google drive

The command you were trying to run (eg rclone copy /tmp remote:tmp)

rclone copy "google:folder" "storage:folder"

Please run 'rclone config redacted' and share the full output. If you get

[google]

type = drive

token = XXX

team_drive =

[nas]

type = smb

host = XXX

pass = XXX

A log from the command that you were trying to run with the -vv flag

Paste  log here

Can you post relevant log showing it?

Run your command with -vv flag to capture DEBUG info:

rclone copy "google:folder" "storage:folder" -vv
