Cancel vfs cache sync?

What is the problem you are having with rclone?

I just realized I've accidentally selected a large amount of files to be moved between 2 remotes, and I want to cancel this operation. I think the operations are already cached/queued up locally in the VFS cache, but due to my connection speed, it will be a while to actually move these files. I want to basically discard/cancel this sync operation. How do I do so?

I've stopped the mounts involved for the moment, but if I re-enable the mounts, the operations continue, I assume because they operations are already queued in the vfs cache. Can I just flush the entire cache to kill this set of operations. They are across multiple paths, I'm not 100% sure of them, so just dumping all pending operations is what I want to do.

Run the command 'rclone version' and share the full output of the command.

rclone v1.57.0

  • os/version: Microsoft Windows 10 Home 2009 (64 bit)
  • os/kernel: 10.0.19043.1826 (x86_64)
  • os/type: windows
  • os/arch: amd64
  • go/version: go1.17.2
  • go/linking: dynamic
  • go/tags: cmount

Which cloud storage system are you using? (eg Google Drive)

Google Drive

Sure.

If you remove the vfs and vfsMeta directories in the cache (find it with rclone config paths) you'll remove all pending uploads.

Great, will do that. Thank you!
